Fun with French
This and the July "summer French" workshop are aimed at those who have a basic knowledge of spoken French but want to consolidate what they know, and gain confidence actually using their spoken language. Perhaps you are an improver or intermediate student. The activities are exclusively oral, and aimed at getting you to practise, practise, practise your spoken French. You may well revisit French which you have already "studied" at some time in the past, but you should start to build up a reliable bank of basic spoken language that you can actually come up with without thinking too hard!

The Fun with French workshop took place on April 24th 2010 in glorious spring sunshine and some people took advantage of the weather to enjoy conversations outside, as part of some of the activities. As usual there were plenty of tasks which involved finding things out from other people, and it did not take long for people to get involved in the activity in hand and stop concentrating on the fact that they were doing everything in French! We were welcomed at the London Inn by Vickie again at lunch time and swopped stories and opinions over a sandwich lunch,(supplemented by a pint or a glass of wine in some cases!). Hard bargains were struck at the vide-grenier in the afternoon, by seemingly quite calm and collected individuals! All in French of course!
